Déplacements
Papier, encre, installation
2013

In this work, I abandoned the processes and materials that characterized my previous production such as painting and the use of my own recycled clothing as supports. The themes of transformation, precarity, identity are explored here with black ink and paper.

I superimposed layers of washes to produce, on the surface, sets of impressions. The selected piece of clothing appears as a trace, shows another strata of existence, a story that is repeated and re-invented. I manipulate the paper and create volumes that are on the wall and floor. This is not drawing in its traditional sense. The works evoke nature and its impact on humanity.
